Content standards are public statements about what all students should know and be able to do in a curriculum area.

Get involved in your child's education

Studies show that students with involved parents, no matter what their income or background, are more likely to:
  • Earn higher grades and test scores, and enroll in higher-level programs;
  • Be promoted, pass their classes and earn credit;s
  • Attend school regularly;
  • Have better social skills, show improved behavior, and adapt well to school;
  • Graduate and go on to post-secondary education.

Neighbors Network

Neighbor's Network is a non-profit organization that serves families of school-age children in Bismarck. The goal of Neighbor's Network is to enhance the learning of school children by helping their families. Using a hands-on approach, staff work closely with each family to address issues related to parenting, organizational skills, relationships, independent living, and basic needs. Reduced Internet and Home Phone Rates through Midco Lifeline

Midcontinent offers a program that helps families that meet certain income criteria access home phone and internet services at reduced prices. The Midcontinent Lifeline Assistance program provides phone subscribers with free installation and reduced monthly rates. Eligible Internet subscribers can receive Midcontinent Broadband service (12 Mpbs x 1 Mbps) for $9.95 per month with no installation or modem fees.
